Every generation looks back fondly on the moments that defined them, or wishes they could have experienced them firsthand. With Glory Days, we hoped to capture that classic collegiate style from the 70s to the 90s, embracing nostalgia and bridging iconic vintage designs with your personal style story.
INITIAL IDEA
How Glory Days Began
This collection came strictly from our passion for fashion – vintage collegiate fashion, that is. Last fall, we sketched out what has now become our Old School design, initially intended for the No Rivals Sports Club, but shelved shortly after. The immensely positive response to our Tennessee Patch Hat clearly showed us that retro logos deserved their own spotlight. Along with that, the return of baseball season provided the perfect inspiration for a classic pinstripe design, enhanced with a little No Rivals contemporary flair. Our biggest hurdle was making sure each unique style worked seamlessly together in one cohesive collection, but safe to say, that hurdle was jumped over.
BEHIND THE SCENES
Crafting the Vision
To turn Glory Days from inspo to a reality, our team took a quick trip to the past. We dug deep into classic yearbook snapshots, legendary collegiate sports imagery, and the nostalgic spirit of campus life across the decades. Out of that immersion emerged the “Glory Days” concept – a creative fusion celebrating the authenticity of old design with new styles.
The Shoot
Making Memories
The Glory Days campaign was our largest, most ambitious creative effort yet. Over two intensive days, we brought our vision to life across multiple locations and carefully styled sets. Every shot – from lighting and props to wardrobe, received careful consideration to truly showcase collegiate pride and individuality through a timeless lens. Much like a picture day, the photoshoot allowed us to highlight not only our hats but also the unique personalities and stories behind each one of them. The old school vibes and celebration of individuality really made us want to kick it back to the glory days and we hope the same for each of you.
